Our Mission
At Gentle Steps Among The Stones, our mission is to provide exceptional services cleaning headstones from invasive lichen, moss, mildew, mold and biological matter. Our mission is to prevent further deterioration to the stones inscriptions.

Preserving Pioneer Stones
In 2022, we started cleaning the pioneer stones at the South Kinloss Cemetery in Lucknow Ontario. With help from Dale Gilchrist and their cemetery board, we have been able to clean over 271 headstones to date (2022 - 2024)

At Gentle Steps Among The Stones, we work on your stone for 1 year. This includes an assessment of the stone, 1st major cleaning and up to 8 additional treatments to remove invasive pollution, stains and biological matter. We clean the stones by hand and only used an approved biocide; safe for all stones.
